♥ Get a car. Last year I finally became a licensed driver, but didn't have enough saved up to get myself some wheels. I'm hoping that this year I'll be able to save enough for something reliable.
♥ See more live music. Last year I only saw people live a handful of times. Local bands at a couple of Summer things my town holds, and I saw Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (squeal!) live at the Rose Garden. This year I'd like to see more than just the one big, live concert. I really enjoy live music.
♥ Read 5 new books. I didn't do very much reading this year. It was weird because normally I tear through books, but I just didn't pick very many up this year. I'm hoping setting a goal for that will hope pull me back into the swing of it.
♥ Save money every month. I'm usually more of a spender than a saver, but I'd really like to change that, especially with college coming up in the Fall.
♥ Complete a photo challenge. At the beginning of the Summer last year I started a 30 day photo challenge but I quit after 26 days.. This year I'd like to finish one all the way through!
♥ Learn 20 songs on my bass. For Christmas this year I received a bass guitar and amp and I would really like to learn to play well. My goal is probably pretty small considering how long a year is, but I like to take baby steps in music and really get something down before moving on.
♥ Shoot (and develop) more film. Last year I only went through about 3 rolls, and I only developed one of them.
♥ Fill another sketchbook. Last year I went through a couple of months of "drawer's block" and wasn't drawing hardly at all, which sucked. I did get back on my feet, but I didn't get my sketchbook filled. This year I'd like to finish my current one, and fill another.
♥ Get outside more. Hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, walking around, these are all things I love but I really didn't do much like that in 2013. Hopefully this year I'll be able to get myself out of the house more (I think being able to drive myself places for things like hiking will be very helpful also).
What are your goals for 2014?
